The United City of Yorkville is accepting sealed contract bids for Raintree Park B Tennis Court Construction - Fencing. Project includes tennis court fencing.
This project is being funded, in part, with State of Illinois Open Space Land and Acquisition (OSLAD) grant program funding assistance made available through the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. Minority business firms are encouraged to submit bids on this project. The successful bidder will be encouraged to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services and construction.
Bid Opening: 10:30 am Tuesday, November 30, 2025 at the United City of Yorkville City Hall, 800 Game Farm Rd., Yorkville, IL 60560. The United City of Yorkville will publicly open and read bids immediately after specified Bid Opening time. Plans and specifications may be obtained for a non-refundable fee of $20.00 for each set at the above address or by contacting Laura Schraw, City Park Designer, at (630) 553-8574.
Contractors must be pre-qualified for bidding 7-10 days prior to bid submittal and opening. Contractors will be required to furnish references and examples of projects. Member of the Sport Builders Association of America preferred. Bid security and performance bonds will be required. Contractors will be required to comply with all laws, including those relating to the employment of labor and the payment of the general prevailing rate of hourly wages in the locality in which the work is to be performed. The prevailing wage rate as ascertained by the Owner or the Illinois Department of Labor for Kendall County, Illinois, shall be paid for each craft or type of worker or mechanic needed to execute the contract or perform such work, also the general prevailing rate for legal holiday and overtime work.
The United City of Yorkville reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities.
